Fun. has announced that they will be playing at Obama’s Inaugural Ball on Jan. 21 in Washington DC.

Earlier this week the band (@OurNameIsFun) tweeted “We are honored to be playing President @BarakObama’s inaugural ball. #inaug2013 …”

Fun. will be playing along with other musical acts Katy Perry, Usher, Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Brad Paisley, Marc Anthony, John Legend, Far East Movement  Smokey Robinson, and Nick Cannon. The artists will be playing at various inaugural events across the weekend. Beyonce and Kelly Clarkson will be singing at the official ceremony on Jan. 21.
