Concert Preview: Atlas Genius

A Note From the Editor

Hey y’all! Atlas Genius is playing at Stubb’s on October 23, and I’ll be attending the show to take photos of the band. I’ve been a fan of Atlas Genius for awhile, and I first saw them in April at Emo’s East with The Neighbourhood. It has been several months, so I am very excited to see how the band has improved as performers and musicians.

I’ll be writing a review of the concert to go along with my photos, so check back by the end of next week to read about it and see the photos. For those of you who may not know Atlas Genius, here is a little bit about them…

Meet the Band

Atlas Genius is a brother-duo band hailing from Adelaide, Australia. The band has had increasing success in the United States and United Kingdom since the release of their debut single “Trojans” on May 4, 2011.

By 2012, the band was signed to Warner Bros. Records, and on Feb. 9, 2013, Atlas Genius released their first album When It Was Now.

The band has toured the US several times, and even performed at festivals this summer including Lollapalooza and Sasquatch! Festival. They are currently on their headliner tour in the US and will tour the UK this November with Imagine Dragons. A full list of dates can be found at AtlasGenius.com.

The official music video for “If So” was released on October 10.
